Call for Workshop Proposals

Proposals are solicited for workshops to be held in conjunction with ACNS 2026. Each ACNS workshop provides a forum to address a specific topic at the forefront of cryptography, privacy, and cybersecurity research. It can be either one full day or half day in length. All workshops must be held physically during the conference and presentations are expected to be delivered in person. At least one of the authors of each accepted workshop paper and at least one workshop PC chair would be expected to register at an author rate for the main conference. Each accepted workshop will receive one complementary registration. All workshops are expected to have a competitive Call for Papers and organize their own selection process, i.e., no workshops consisting of invited talks only will be accepted. Post-proceedings of all workshops will be published in Springer’s LNCS series. Information on past ACNS workshops is available at http://jianying.space/acns/acns-workshops.html.

Workshop Proposal Submission Guidelines

Each workshop proposal should include the following information:

• Workshop title and acronym,
• A draft “Call for Papers” articulating the scope and topics covered by the workshop,
• A brief summary and justification for the workshop, including short feedback from any previous editions on acceptance rates, number of participants, etc.,
• Proposed length (half or full day), format, and tentative agenda,
• Expected number of submissions and acceptance rate,
• Expected number of attendees,
• Names of 2 workshop program chairs, whose names will appear on the joint workshop proceedings, and, if available, tentative program committee, and
• A one-paragraph biographical sketch for each program chair, describing relevant qualifications, including research and conference/workshop organizing experience.

Proposal Evaluation Criteria

• The workshop is within the scope of cybersecurity and concerns an emerging and important technical topic of high interest in the community.
• Its novelty with respect to other forums.
• Its likely impact on the target community, including potential high participation.
• Research caliber of the PC committee and PC chairs.
• Important remark: If your workshop has been previously collocated with ACNS there is no guarantee that it will be automatically selected for this year’s conference.

• Workshop proposal submission due: October 24, 2025, AoE
• Decision notification: November 1, 2025
• CFP and website for each workshop are due: November 30, 2025, AoE
• Suggested workshop paper submission deadline: March 20, 2026, AoE
• Suggested workshop paper notification: April 20, 2026
• Submission of camera-ready papers for the proceedings: May 15, 2026 (hard deadline)
• Workshop dates: June 23-26, 2026 (in parallel with the main conference)
